Borgobrufa has undergone many transformations and changes, though it has always maintained its most important trait: its uniqueness.
Borgobrufa SPA Resort, located less than 500 meters from the enchanting town of Brufa, began as a farm on more than 12 hectares of land and four main farmhouses.
The complex was chosen by Andrea Sfascia and his wife Ivana due to its magical location and typical Umbrian architecture. In 1997 major restructuring took place and in 2002 fourteen new rooms were added, as well as a reception area and a pool. This was called the Borgo Brufa Country House. In 2006, after only four years, the Sfascia family proposed a new challenge: the restructuring of the Villa Nobile from the 1700s and the creation of six suites. This was the Borghetto, with twenty eight more rooms, a restaurant which can acomodate up to 250 people, conference rooms and one of the first SPAs in the region, which in 2011 became the largest in Umbria.
After many years of hard work and thanks to the hotel’s qualified staff, the Sfascia family was able to make their dream come true: the creation of a hotel in a beautiful environment, respectful of nature and serentiy. A facility which respects Umbrian tradition and hospitality, a luxury hotel which began as a farm and was expanded without compromising its rustic origins, where it is possible to stroll surrounded by greenery and take in the wonders of nature. A familiar place where you can feel at home even on vacation, the ideal getaway from the pressures of daily life.
